A source from Il Tirreno confirmed that the Old Trafford team will soon make a move for Sofyan Amrabat.

Coach Erik ten Hag is keen to address the lack of squad depth and has focused on bringing in a quality central midfielder.

Man United have put Sofyan Amrabat on the target list for the defensive midfielder position. However, United have yet to make progress in their pursuit of Fiorentina’s Sofyan Amrabat.

Currently, Ten Hag has midfield options including Casemiro, Mason Mount, Bruno Fernandes, Scott McTominay and Christian Eriksen, after letting Fred join Fenerbahce.

 Man Utd will make an offer for Amrabat.

Amrabat is still the top choice, but Man Utd is said to have other options such as Everton’s Amadou Onana or Bayern Munich’s Ryan Gravenberch.

After the defeat against Tottenham, journalist Fabrizio Romano affirmed that the Red Devils will definitely recruit a midfielder in the near future.

The latest, Italy’s Il Tirreno newspaper confirmed the Red Devils ‘almost certainly’ will make an official offer to sign Amrabat from Fiorentina.

The Serie A representative is expecting to collect 30 million euros with an extra clause to sell Amrabat. Thus, Man Utd’s decision will end the long story about Amrabat this summer.
