Pedri and Ferran Torres found the net in the latter half, securing Barcelona’s inaugural LaLiga win this season with a 2-0 triumph over Cadiz. Conan Ledesma, Cadiz’s remarkable goalkeeper, thwarted several impressive saves on Sunday.

Ledesma’s quick reflexes denied two early attempts by 16-year-old forward Lamine Yamal, who replaced the suspended Raphinha for his debut start with Barcelona.

Setting a new record, Yamal became the youngest LaLiga starter in the 21st century, surpassing Fabrice Olinga’s previous achievement in September 2012 with Malaga.

Cadiz’s goalkeeper further exhibited his prowess by executing an incredible one-handed save from a close-range shot by Jules Kounde and denying a Robert Lewandowski header just before halftime.

While the visitors posed a threat on counter-attacks and missed two promising opportunities with Roger Marti, Barcelona regained control in the second half.
