The manager couldn’t hide his anger and his rant was picked up on pitch-side microphones. He lost it

During Saturday’s match against Bournemouth, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp yelled at the Kop crowd in a furious manner.

The Reds overcame a deficit to earn their first victory of the year and extend their league-leading unbeaten streak to 13 games.

With goals from Luis Diaz, Mohamed Salah, and Diogo Jota, Klopp’s team won 3-1.

Nevertheless, they were reduced to ten men for the game’s final phase after new midfielder Alexis Mac Allistar received a red card.

Despite winning, the German manager was visibly upset during the game when fans in The Kop began singing a cover of his song, according to the Liverpool Echo.

Before the game, Klopp had already stated that he didn’t want the fans to start singing the song.

This caused him to shout, “Can you stop singing that s***? You able to stop it?

Still work to do for Liverpool

Despite winning, the scoreline didn’t reflect Liverpool’s struggles, particularly in the first half.

They conceded inside three minutes after giving away possession allowing Antoine Semenyo to fire home.

The Reds have recently completed the signing of Wataru Endo from Stuttgart for £16m who will provide much-needed balance to the midfield.

Since losing both Jordan Henderson and Fabinho to the Saudi Pro League, Liverpool have lacked a defensive-minded option in the middle of the park.

They missed out on Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia who both joined Chelsea so supporters will be hoping that the fairly unknown midfielder Endo will be enough to solve their problems.

The Japanese international could make his debut next weekend as The Reds face a tough trip to Newcastle, who are likely to be one of their rivals for a place in the top four this season.

Despite the initial poor performance, Klopp was pleased with the performance shown against Bournemouth and will be looking for something similar on Tyneside.

“It was a top response. The level was really good, it was really good,” he said.
