Chelsea held talks on Friday over Arsenal’s £50million-rated striker Folarin Balogun who also has Monaco and Fulham weighing up new offers.
The 22-year-old impressed on loan at Reims last season as he scored 22 goals and he could now depart permanently.
The Gunners slapped a hefty price tag on the USA international after he enjoyed a successful spell at in France with Stade Reims last season.
Fulham are also considering a move for Balogun as they prepare to sell Aleksandar Mitrovic to Al-Hilal.
But the Cottagers are only willing to pay a maximum of £35m.

Balogun scored 21 goals in 37 Ligue 1 games in 2022–23, trailing just Kylian Mbappe of PSG, Alexandre Lacazette of Lyon, and Jonathan David of Lille in that category.
After leaving England for the United States, the 22-year-old made his international debut in June.
During the summer, Balogun has also been connected to moves to Monaco, Inter Milan, and Tottenham.
