Football player Antony for Manchester United is currently the subject of an investigation after DJ and influencer Gabriela Cavallin revealed charges of domestic abuse.
A 70-page document put up by Cavallin’s representatives in England allegedly offers proof of the player’s ɑggressιve and abusive behavior.
Cavallin’s attorney, Vanessa Souza, claims that Antony may face charges for three different offenses under English law.
These accusations include sending threatening messages, keeping Cavallin inside their home, and engaging in violent conduct against Cavallin that left him hurt.
According to Souza, “The actions are classified as three different crimes in England.” Souza said to UOL.
Cavallin has described the trauma she went through while living with Antony in order to show her anguish about the episodes.
She reported Antony to the police in So Paulo, Brazil, earlier in June, charging him with making threats, domestic ɑssɑult, and bodιly harm. Despite my best efforts to move on, I still have trouble sleeping, which has prevented me from working, admitted Cavallin.
The investigation is still going on in Brazil, and testimony from witnesses is being gathered. It has been unsuccessful so far to get in touch with Antony’s agents to get remarks.
Additionally, Cavallin had earlier asked for a restraining order against the 23-year-old football player.
She spoke about her experiences in an interview with TV Record, claiming that Antony had threatened to kιll her and had beaten her with glass.
Antony allegedly said, “If you’re not going to be with me, you’re not going to be with anyone else. ” This threɑt was terrifying. You’re going to get it here in the end. I, you, and our son are now going to dιe together.
While the investigation is still underway, the case has attracted a lot of attention and serves as a reminder of how crucial it is to address and eradicate domestic abuse in all facets of society.
