Brazilian superstar Neymar has joined the Saudi Pro League after joining Al-Hilal in a £77.6 million move from French champions Paris Saint-Germain.
Among the many benefits of Neymar’s spectacular summer move to Saudi Arabia is a massive £2.5 million-per-week salary.
Neymar, 31, left European football to sign a two-year deal with Al-Hilal, with an additional 12-month option. The 124-cap Brazil international was acquired by the Saudi Pro League team from French champions Paris Saint-Germain for €90 million (£77.6 million).
Neymar, who won the Champions League with Barcelona in 2015, said, “I’ve accomplished a lot in Europe and had some wonderful times, but I’ve always wanted to be a global player and test myself with new challenges and opportunities in new places.”
The biggest footballer to support the Saudi revolution while still technically in their prime is Neymar. He reportedly received various tempting incentives to quit playing in Europe and give up on winning a second European Cup.
The Sun reports that Neymar’s new employers have provided him three high-end vehicles in addition to four Mercedes G Wagons and a Mercedes van for his entourage. Neymar and his family will also have a driver on call around-the-clock.
A Bentley Continental GP, an Aston Martin DBX, and a Lamborghini Huracan, each worth more than £500,000, are rumored to be the celebrity’s three luxury vehicles.
Neymar now has a magnificent home thanks to Al-Hilal. For the enjoyment of his loved ones, it is said that the refrigerator will constantly be loaded with Acai juice and guarana drinks. The pad will also feature five full-time employees, including a cook and cleaners, and three saunas.
The building will also contain 25 rooms and a pool that is 40 meters long and at least 10 meters wide. A private jet will also be offered to Neymar.
Despite earning a massive £2.5 million per week, the Saudis will also pay Neymar’s expenses when he dines out and stays in hotels. After moving to the Middle East, Neymar would earn £173.8 million annually, joining players like Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema.
