After having a new haircut, David Beckham may be winning his first trophy as Inter Miami’s president, and if he does, he’ll be flaunting a new look.
Days before Inter Miami’s biggest game in team history, David Beckham went through his hairstyle archives and shaved his head.
In his younger years, Beckham, 48, sported practically every style of haircut you can imagine and still does. His most recent appearance, which still features the buzz cut he wore when performing miracles for England, is a throwback to the 2000s.
In the years after the treble, it also became into a legendary moment from his time at Manchester United. Later in his career, when he played for the LA Galaxy, Beckham brought the shaven appearance back.
To highlight his arrival in California, he had his hair bleached blonde for his first press conference with the MLS team. His barnet, though, has remained natural this time.
When bidding goodbye to the restaurant employees at Lo Scoglio before boarding their boat on their vacation in Italy, Beckham and his wife, Victoria, were both observed sporting the new haircut. Cruz and Harper, their two youngest children, are shown with them as well.
He initially posted a selfie with the comment, “Nothing much changes got bored of my hair chop it off,” along with an emoji that represented crying and laughter to announce his new look on social media. Romeo, his middle son, recently shaved his head in a tribute to his father, and it appears that this action was prompted by Romeo.
The footballer, who joined with Brentford’s B squad this summer, also posted a selfie to social media with the comment, “Helping me bring back dad’s buzz.” He also tagged his barber in the caption.
Beckham Sr. accepted the adjustment and even gave it his blessing. He reshared the post and commented, “Looking good.”
Soon, the buzz cut might be associated with one of Beckham’s greatest career accomplishments. This is due to Inter Miami, the team he co-owns and serves as interim president of, reaching their first final in five years this weekend. The poorest MLS team has won each game since the World Cup winner made his debut after this summer’s signing of Lionel Messi. Seven games into the most recent era of club history, they are just 90 minutes away from winning their first prize, the Leagues Cup.
The Tennessee city of Nashville, which will host the championship game at Geodis Park on Saturday, stands in their way of winning a trophy. Sam Surridge, a former forward for Nottingham Forest, is their top scorer.
Messi has disproved the naysayers’ assertions that he couldn’t elevate the squad from last place in the regular season rankings to one of the best in the nation. In just six games, the former Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain player has scored nine goals.
In the relatively recent history of the Leagues Cup, he already holds the scoring record. After only one month on the job in Miami, Messi would love to help his team overcome this last obstacle for his new boss.
