According to Telegraph Football, the Dutch coach gave his own opinion on the case of the 21-year-old striker
Mason Greenwood’s future at Man Utd is still in big question. The English star is still waiting for the final decision from the host club to wait for the date of re-export.
However, there is good news for Greenwood at the moment because, according to a source from Telegraph Football, coach Erik ten Hag is ready to bring the 21-year-old star back to the squad.
The Dutch captain believes the club has an obligation to care for a player who has been with them since he was a boy and has not been found guilty of anything in court.
The decision from Ten Hag will also help Man Utd to partly solve the problem in attack in the context that the future of Anthony Martial is unclear and rookie Rasmus Hojlund needs more time to reach the best condition.
Greenwood used to be a potential striker and so, if Man Utd accepts to bring the English star back, Ten Hag will have more choices for the number 9 position.
