Signing Report – Confirmed: Liverpool now agree to sign ‘rare’ £32m defensive midfielder

Ibrahim Sangare is currently being linked to Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool after Nottingham Forest was unable to sign him.

Ibrahim Sangare of PSV is reportedly a player Liverpool are interested in acquiring during the summer transfer season, according to ESPN Netherlands.

According to the article, Sangare’s skills are also sought after by Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain.

The 25-year-old defensive midfielder has reportedly previously had an offer for him rejected by Nottingham Forest.

According to ESPN Netherlands, Sangare’s PSV contract has a €37 million (£32 million) release clause.

Former Ajax and PSV manager Aad de Mos is quoted by ESPN Netherlands as claiming that Sangare is a “rare” player.

He would make a fantastic player for the Premier League, according to De Mos.

“He is always the connection you put down first to make the rest function for a team that plays offensively. That’s unusual.

Ibrahim Sangare, a midfielder for PSV, would be a nice addition for Liverpool.

Ibrahim Sangare, a defensive midfielder for PSV, would, in our opinion, be an excellent acquisition for Liverpool during the summer transfer window.

First off, a €37 million (£32 million) transfer fee is not a lot to pay for a player who is 25 and has performed well over the years.

Sangare played prominently for Toulouse in France before joining PSV in the Eredivisie.

The 25-year-old has also made 31 appearances for the national football team of Ivory Coast.

Second, Sangare is also coveted by Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain.

It demonstrates how highly regarded he is in the footballing world.

Two of the biggest clubs in the world, Bayern and PSG, would not be interested in a player of average talent.

Despite being a defensive midfielder, Sangare is capable of making runs and scoring goals

In the Eredivisie last year, Sangare made 26 starts and three substitute appearances.

In those games, the PSV star scored five goals and provided one assist.

Sangare also contributed one assist and one goal for PSV in six UEFA Europa League games last year.
