Lionel Messi’s Tattoo DISCLOSed: The Inter Miami star has wife Antonela’s eye on his bicep, son Thiago’s hand on his leg and Jesus on his shoulder – here’s what they all mean

During his first few games for Inter Miami, Lionel Messi gained the attention of the American soccer public, if he didn’t already have it.

The Argentine superstar has made MLS a hot topic and stirred up trouble in Fort Lauderdale.

Additionally, it involves a long list of famous people, including DJ Khaled, LeBron James, Kim Kardashian, and Diddy.

ANTONELA’S EYE

THE NO. 10

It’s not surprising to find that Messi’s nimble left foot had a place for the Argentinean’s first love.

Messi’s favorite left leg is holding a soccer ball, and next to it are four birthdates: his, Antonela’s, then those of his three kids, Thiago, Mateo, and Ciro.

Messi opted to print them on the ankle and bottom part of his right leg as well, as if one leg wasn’t enough. Staying with Messi’s deadly left, the No. 10 is on the other side. This wasn’t, however, his first number in Barcelona.

Before putting on the No. 19 shirt, he started wearing No. 30 back in 2004. The garment he made famous was finally worn by him in the 2008–09 season.

JESUS CHRIST

Messi previously had this version, which is blue-tinged and features what looks to be a cross. Naturally, Messi blacked it out, leaving the No. 10 solely in this remarkable piece of art.

TIMEPIECES

Although Messi has a sleeve of tattoos down his right arm, the one that really stands out is on his shoulder.

The artwork shows Jesus Christ wearing a crown of thorns, which is a potent and revered symbol among Christians.

As a practicing Catholic, Messi frequently thanked God for helping Argentina defeat France in the World Cup.

In response to his victory in Qatar, he told TYC Sports, “I just said that God was going to give it to me.” I was certain that now was the time because of a sense I got.

REWARD HIM

Aside from the representation of Christ, Messi also has several other intriguing works of art up his sleeve, such as three flowers and various clocks, which might be seen as a reference to the value of time.

Naturally, Messi hasn’t addressed whether or not this is true.

This next tattoo is likely to be prominently shown among keen observers of Messi’s next games.

Messi’s right bicep, which is where the crown tattoo is located, is most seen when his arms are extended, which happens frequently after he scores.

According to some sources, Antonella, who has a comparable tattoo on her right arm in the exact same location, is being honored.

BEADS OF ROSARY

While not clearly visible in this image, Messi’s lower abs on the left side show lips, as if someone had given him a red lipstick kiss there.

Maybe they did at one point in time. In any event, numerous sources imply that it is yet another ode to his beautiful wife. The rosary on the Argentine’s right forearm is another tattoo that has generated considerable speculation.

Some people think it’s a tribute to and remembrance of his hometown of Rosario. A rosary is a key tool for practicing Catholics, therefore it may be a sign of Messi’s religious beliefs.
