It had fans joking that the Egyptian should have been punished for littering.

One said: “Look at Salah man, littering all over the pitch.”

Another added: “Should Salah be fined for littering? I think so….”

One agreed: “Salah should be fined for littering.”

Another said: “Seriously Salah should be booked for littering!”

Salah had a record of scoring in all six of his opening Premier League games with Liverpool.

And in those matches, he notched a total of eight goals which is a joint-record with Alan Shearer, Wayne Rooney and Frank Lampard.

After Luis Diaz’s goal put Liverpool up 2-0 at Stamford Bridge, Salah felt he had extended that record.

The ensuing equalizing goal by new Chelsea defender Axel Disasi just before halftime made up for the fact that he had been rejected by VAR for offside.

Ben Chilwell shared Salah’s fate in that he narrowly missed scoring after going around Allison due to being offside.

The fans witnessed an exciting second half, although West London ultimately divided the points.

Jurgen Klopp on Mohamed Salah’s reaction to being subbed:

“We are here to win a game. Mo is super, super, super important. We have to make decisions. We needed fresh legs. He has 500 different records. I can’t think of these during the game.”
