Salah had a record of scoring in all six of his opening Premier League games with Liverpool.

And in those matches, he notched a total of eight goals which is a joint-record with Alan Shearer, Wayne Rooney and Frank Lampard.

After Luis Diaz’s goal put Liverpool up 2-0 at Stamford Bridge, Salah felt he had extended that record.

Ben Chilwell experienced the same fate as Salah as he was just missed for being offside after round Allison to score.

A thrilling second half was enjoyed by the crowd, but in the end, West London split the points.
