Erik ten Hag is once again proven correct as Benjamin Pavard is reportedly eager to “fight as hard as possible” to join Manchester United.
The World Cup winner has spoken with Manchester United, according to Fabrizio Romano, who are searching for a defender to replace the leaving Harry Maguire.
Pavard would add a wealth of experience, a winning attitude, and ‘indispensable adaptability’ to this United team, all of which will be extremely helpful to the group as they progress through the 23/24 season.
As can already be seen in this window with Mason Mount, Andre Onana, and Rasmus Hojlund, it always helps when the player is on board with joining. Recent events most definitely show that this is the case.
According to Sky Sports, Benjamin Pavard will “fight as hard as possible” to go from Bayern Munich to Manchester United, but the two clubs place very different values on the player.
The clubs are in discussions, and €30 million (£25.9 million) is thought to be a reasonable price. The trade, though, will only go place if Harry Maguire departs from Manchester United.
This makes sense because United now lacks the finances necessary to hire the Bayern defense without making any sales.
