Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano gives an update on Manchester United’s Donny van de Beek deal.
Manchester United is making a new revolution in the summer of 2023. They are forced to strengthen their strength to fight on many fronts next season. On the contrary, some players will have to leave Old Trafford or be sold.
Alex Telles, Anthony Elanga, Phil Jones or Fred are all gone. According to the British press, Man United is also looking for new places for other players who are no longer in the plan.
Accordingly, Donny van de Beek is likely to leave Old Trafford. The Red Devils allow the Dutch player to find a new destination in this summer transfer window
Initially, Van de Beek’s potential destination could be La Liga. Real Sociedad pays attention to the Dutch player. They began negotiating with Man Utd about a loan agreement with Van de Beek with the option to buy it outright.
However, the deal has not yet made any progress. Specifically, Romano confirmed: “There is no agreement with Real Sociedad on how to reach an agreement.”
Rumor has it that Van de Beek is linked back to Ajax. However, Romano confirmed: “Currently there are no talks about Van de Beek’s arrival at Ajax despite the recent news.
“Conversely, there are ongoing negotiations with other clubs at this stage.”
Thus, there is no chance that Van de Beek will return to the Netherlands to play football this summer.
