Kepa turned down a trade to Bayern Munich in favor of a loan arrangement with Chelsea and Real Madrid.

Fabrizio Romano claims that a loan agreement for goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga has been reached between Chelsea and Real Madrid. The trade was brought on by Kepa’s decision to leave Bayern Munich and go back to Spain.

Real Madrid had to look elsewhere for a goalkeeper after losing Thibaut Courtois for the season due to an ACL injury. The Belgian’s season has terminated due to the injury.
