Numerous other athletes, including Beckham, were present to see Messi and Miami’s 4-0 victory over Charlotte FC in the match.
Derek Jeter, a member of the Baseball Hall of Fame and a former owner of the Miami Marlins, was seen interacting with Beckham before the game started.
Additionally, before the game, Beckham paused for a photo opportunity with Argentina’s World Cup-winning manager Lionel Scaloni.
At the start of the game, Messi wowed the audience at DRV PNK Stadium by netting a goal to assist his team win.
He has scored eight goals in five games since coming to the United States, all of them goals.
He won that game with a spectacular free kick on his debut against Cruz Azul.
Messi then scored two braces in the Round of 32 matches against Atlanta United and Orlando City.
Messi’s performance in the Round of 16 may have been his greatest to date in the United States; the Argentinean scored his team’s first and fourth goals, as well as a free kick that was so precise that it forced a penalty shootout.
