Reports suggest that Barcelona is considering offering Neymar an initial one-year deal at a reduced salary, with plans to subsequently provide an upgraded contract in 2024, reflecting his value and contributions.

Neymar’s arrival could lead to an exit

Even if Neymar agrees to a significant salary reduction, the club could face a challenging decision due to Financial Fair Play regulations, potentially leading to a significant departure.

According to Josep Capdevila, if Neymar rejoins Barcelona from PSG, it might necessitate the departure of a beloved player, causing discomfort among the fans. While no specific name is mentioned, the prospect suggests that a homegrown talent could be sacrificed to accommodate Neymar’s return.
