As reported by Telegraph Sport on Thursday, Liverpool launched a late proposal for Caicedo, outbidding Chelsea, who had held the lead for the midfielder throughout the summer.

The 21-year-old’s most recent bid from Chelsea is rumored to have been in the area of £100 million.
