This evening, at a free event for fans, Alisson Becker, Missy Bo Kearns, and Dominik Szoboszlai surprised attendees with the unveiling of Liverpool FC’s new third kit for the 2023–24 season.
The live revelation took place at the city’s historic Eventim Olympia in cooperation with BOSS Night, who had invited hundreds of Reds fans to a sell-out pre-season event. The venue was sold out.
And it was a night with an additional Liverpool FC twist when Alisson, Kearns, and Szoboszlai emerged on stage during a version of “Allez, Allez, Allez” to formally announce the club’s third jersey for the upcoming season, which can now be pre-ordered ahead of its release on Thursday, August 17. The third jersey will be available for purchase on Thursday, August 17.
Before he asked Kearns and Szoboszlai to join him in the new third jersey, goalkeeper Alisson was the first player to come out. He captivated everyone with a performance on lead guitar alongside singer Kieo. Kearns and Szoboszlai were wearing the new third shirt. The LFC x Nike tech fleece hoodie was what Alisson was seen wearing.
A closer inspection of the equipment reveals that it has a ripple design in purple, with black cuffs on the sleeves, black inserts for the collarbone, and black paneling on the sides. The game day uniform is finished off with a pair of shorts that match and some purple ripple socks.
In remembrance of the innocent children, women, and men who were wrongfully slain as a direct result of the Hillsborough disaster, the number 97 insignia, which is encircled by the Eternal Flames, is worn around the nape of the neck.
The patch representing the Liverpool Football Club Foundation will be sewn onto the back of the shirt that is worn in European tournaments during this season. The Liverpool Football Club Foundation is the official charity of the club and works to improve the lives of young people and their families at home and around the world.
In addition, the LFC Foundation patch may be purchased for five pounds sterling and printed on the back of the shirt; the proceeds from this sale will go toward helping the LFC Foundation’s international initiatives. Please visit liverpoolfc.com/foundation for further details regarding the activities of the official charity associated with the club.
The new home kit, inspired by the 1970s, and the away kit, inspired by the 1990s, are joined by this third strip to complete the line-up for this season.
The Dri-FIT technology that is included into Nike’s stadium and match jerseys is designed to assist players in maintaining a comfortable body temperature even during the most strenuous of competitions or practices.
The Nike uniform is created in a sustainable manner, in accordance with the environmental initiative known as The Red Way, which is run by Liverpool Football Club. Both the authentic and replica jerseys are composed of 100 percent recycled polyester, which is derived from recycled plastic bottles.
This process is part of Nike’s larger Move to Zero project and involves the collection, cleaning, and melting down of plastic bottles in order to make a high-quality yarn for production. The most sustainable football clothing is made from recycled plastic bottles.
The third uniform may be purchased in men’s, women’s, and junior sizing, and it comes in both a match and a stadium version. In addition, names and numbers from the brand-new Premier League can be embroidered on the back of jerseys.
To continue the tradition that has been established throughout the club’s history, Liverpool Football Club is providing all LFC Official Members and season ticket holders with a discount of ten percent off the list price of new uniforms. Additionally, this is accessible to essential workers in the UK through Blue Light and Network, as well as students through Student Beans. You can get more information about who is eligible for the discount and how to redeem it on this page.
On August 17, other products, including as the second retail goalkeeper uniform and additional items from the training and lifestyle collection, will be made available for purchase. When the remaining parts for training and living are introduced to the collection in September, the third kit collection will be finished and ready for purchase.
