As per Corriere dello Sport, the Italian sensation, Federico Chiesa, sets his sights on Liverpool over Newcastle United.

Amidst uncertainty around his Juventus future this summer, Federico Chiesa, son of the legendary Enrico Chiesa, has drawn interest from multiple suitors.

Newcastle and Aston Villa in England, alongside Al Hilal and Al-Ahli in Saudi Arabia, have extended their recruitment offers to the Italian national team player. Nevertheless, Chiesa has turned down approaches from all these clubs.

In a recent update, a source within Corriere dello Sport has unveiled Chiesa’s keen interest in Liverpool and his openness to embracing Anfield, provided they make an offer. However, as of now, Manager Jurgen Klopp appears content with his attacking lineup, showing no immediate intent to secure the 25-year-old’s services.

This leads to the conclusion that the forward will temporarily continue his tenure with Juventus in Turin. Yet, Juventus faces significant financial hurdles, potentially motivating them to offload the former Fiorentina standout for an offer around 50 million euros (£43 million).

At present, Coach Max Allegri’s focus is on acquiring Romelu Lukaku. Should the Chelsea star make a move to the Allianz Stadium, Chiesa could find himself partnering with the Belgian forward in a 3-5-2 formation. Should he aspire to switch clubs, Chiesa must elevate his performance to attract top-tier teams either by the end of the transfer window or in the upcoming year.
