The 2023 NBA Finals were won by the championship-winning team, who was captained by two-time NBA MVP Nikola Jokic and outstanding point player Jamal Murray. They defeated the Miami Heat in five games. The Nuggets won 94-89 last night to end the series on the court at Ball Arena in Denver.

Jokic led Denver in scoring yesterday night with 28 points while also grabbing 16 rebounds to help his team win. Following the game, the dominant center was given the 2023 NBA Finals MVP trophy. Denver big forward Michael Porter Jr. led his team to win with 16 points and 13 rebounds. Jamal Murray contributed an additional 14 points and 8 rebounds.

On the field, the Nuggets’ players wore some of the top performance basketball shoes currently on the market, including pricey models from brands with a long history in the sport (Nike, Jordan Brand) as well as recent entrants (New Balance and 361 Degrees).

Murray, a 2020 New Balance player who signed with the company, gave sneaker highlights. Murray used several variations of the company’s court-ready Two Wxy v3 shoe throughout the five-game series. Additionally, Bruce Brown and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope also sported multiple Nike Kobe silhouettes, as did 361 Degrees-supported baller Aaron Gordon, who laced up various hues of his 361 Degrees Zen 5 style.
