Adidas players Paul Pogba, Serge Gnabry, Jude Bellingham, and David Alaba can all be seen in the latest photoshoot of the upcoming Adidas x Gucci collection.

 

The collaboration between the sportswear and high fashion giants was first unveiled to the global public in September last year and will be available from June 7th. The wide range of garments is inspired by Adidas’ sporting heritage and Gucci’s luxurious craftsmanship. The result is a colorful, chic collection with a touch of 70’s style.

 

The Adidas trefoil logo is featured throughout the collection, as are Gucci’s red and green stripes and the Italian fashion house’s monogram. The collection consists of a wide range of garments ranging from tracksuits to bell bottoms, as well as knitted polo shirts, bucket hats, and the Adidas Gazelle in various colors.

 

Many photos have already been released, but for the latest shoot, Adidas has recruited some of its top football players for the promotion. Pogba, Alaba, Bellingham, and Gnabry were apparently seen as the most stylish, fashionable, or marketable players for such a season, as Lionel Messi or Mo Salah would surely have been if status in the footballing world had been the main criterion for selection. Hopefully, Jesse Lingard won’t find his exclusion another slight.
