Kyle Walker has made a decision about his future at Man City

Since Man City won the treble and for the majority of the summer, Kyle Walker’s future at the club has been the focus of a great deal of rumor.

Respectfully, the right-back isn’t getting any younger, but he’s still quick and one of Pep Guardiola’s attacking system’s most trustworthy players.

It was rumored that Bayern Munich had approached him with an offer, providing him with a brand-new opportunity at the tail end of his career.

It was previously believed that City had not made an offer that would encourage the player to reevaluate the Bavarians’ approach, but that perception now seems to have altered.

Walker is prepared to accept City’s new contract offer, which gives him better terms than Bayern’s, according to The Athletic (subscription required).

Even while it may have been anticipated that there would be other possibilities in the transfer market if Walker had decided to move on, Pep Guardiola can still consider that a win.

The city will be in a good position to once again compete for all of the top awards if the manager is able to retain the services of Bernardo Silva, who is said to favor a move to Barcelona.

The Citizens have the drive to keep trying to become the first team to ever retain all three trophies after just winning the triple.

You can count on Guardiola, the manager, to expect his team to accomplish that.
