Nkunku Set to Miss Several Months with Ligament Injury

Have you had a pleasant summer? Did you enjoy seeing the wonderful vibes grow in this new Chelsea? Did you track down all of the blossoming green shoots of positivity and see them blossom into something beautiful, both on and off the field?

So, I hope you enjoyed everything, because the season has finally here. The real stuff. The real world. Hello everyone, and welcome back to the suck.

Okay, so that’s a little dramatic, but according to several Chelsea sources, the news on Christopher Nkunku’s knee is… not good. It’s not the worst thing in the world, but it’s also not the best.

That’s not surprising given the radio silence so far. Scans convey positive news swiftly and unfavorable news slowly. And it’s been five days since he was humiliated in a friendly against Dortmund by Mats Hummels.

According to The Guardian, “Nkunku is understood to have sustained meniscus damage in his left knee,” which means he’ll be out of commission for weeks if surgery isn’t performed, and months if it is. While the article states that we “remain hopeful” that it is the former, some are already giving up. Given the current state of affairs, I’d be astonished if it isn’t the latter.

So… yeah. While it lasted, it was entertaining.

an actual nightclub located within the actual Madrid striker’s home.

Vinicius Jr. often works out in his roomy, well-equipped gym to keep his body in top condition. The trip’s high point was without a doubt the gigantic discotheque, which was built to mimic a conventional commercial nightclub and included a dancing floor, a long bar, and nice sofas to relax on. There is a football field outside where you can run about with the ball even on days when there is no practice.
