From the beginning to the completion of Manchester United’s preseason, Omari Forson was a key contributor and performed an important part.

Before suffering an injury in the early stages of the preseason, Kobbie Mainoo was the talk of the town. But it seems that Erik ten Hag’s attention has been drawn to yet another promising young youngster.

During the preseason, Omari Forson has played a total of 270 minutes with the first team and has participated in six out of the eight matches.

 

One of the games that he was supposed to play in but didn’t was the one against Wrexham, which had a roster of players under the age of 21, which was evidence that Erik ten Hag considered him as more of a first team option.

Because he does not have any goals or assists to his name, Omari Forson may feel as though he has not made the most of the opportunities he has been given. At the weekend’s match against Lens, Forson was one of the few players that entered the game as a substitute at Old Trafford. Meanwhile, players such as Christian Eriksen and Donny van de Beek were forced to watch from the bench.
