Rasmus Hojlund humorously calls Christian Eriksen ‘Agent Christian’ in latest interview: ‘He’s the one who brought me here’

Christian Eriksen’s high-profile transfer to Manchester United was delightfully mocked by Rasmus Hojlund, who referred to him as “Agent Christian.”

The 20-year-old discussed Eriksen’s part in his switch from Atalanta in a recent interview after joining Manchester United.

“Christian Eriksen’s presence is welcome. He admitted to taking me to the Danish publication. Over the summer, he went under the name “Agent Christian.”

“Playing for the club I dreamed of when I was very young is huge,” he continued.

Holland made his debut for Man United against Lens in a pre-season friendly last Saturday. Marcus Rashford, Antony, and Casemiro all scored as his new team defeated the French team 3-1 as he watched from the stands.

The young forward, who moved to Old Trafford in a deal that could have cost up to £72 million, is expected to miss the opening few matches of the new campaign due to a minor injury.

He might, however, play against Nottingham Forest at the end of the month to make his Man United debut.

Erik ten Hag described his new talent as “really a front man, very direct to the goal.” A strong presser and physical presence were things I believe our group as a whole required.

He is “another player who is direct and can score goals, and that is all in his mind — he wants to score goals” with Rashford.

The Dutchman continued, “I think he has such enormous potential, and now it is up to him to explore it. We, the coaches, will help him.

“I’m confident that the entire squad was looking for someone of his kind, and they will all work together to aid him whether it’s in the locker room or on the field.
