Transfer Bombshell: Is Liverpool’s Iconic Player Set to Depart for Saudi’s Al-Ittihad?

As per Al-Riyadiah TV station, the Arab club has chosen Mohamed Salah to take up the central position for Liverpool in the upcoming games.

Jordan Henderson and Fabinho have bid farewell to Liverpool to move to the Arab region this summer. While Henderson is set to join Al-Ettifaq, Fabinho will don the colors of Al-Ittihad.

The next star in line at Anfield targeted by Arab clubs is Mohamed Salah. According to Arab television station Al-Riyadiah, Al-Ittihad is currently in negotiations with Salah’s representatives to discuss a potential move before the summer transfer window closes.

Sources state that the Arab club is prepared to offer Salah a lucrative two-season contract worth £155 million and will send a transfer fee of £60 million to Liverpool. This showcases Al-Ittihad’s ambition, having already acquired Karim Benzema, N’Golo Kante, and Jota this summer.

Just a few days ago, Jurgen Klopp spoke out, urging FIFA and UEFA to intervene in the Saudi Pro League transfer window, urging for it to close earlier, rather than extending over three weeks after the European market closes on August 31st.

His opinion aligns with that of Pep Guardiola who strongly believes that Middle Eastern clubs are drastically altering the transfer market by exorbitantly spending money to lure top European teams, particularly Liverpool.
