UPDATE: £3m can help Liverpool own the next rookie – Romeo Lavia

Reporter Fabrizio Romano updated notable information about a potential transfer of Liverpool.

Liverpool are changing midfield drastically when they have parted with James Milner, Naby Keita, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain or recently Jordan Henderson and Fabinho.

Besides, The Kop is also trying to increase personnel with Romeo Lavia of Southampton being considered a top target, after they have successfully recruited Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai. It is known that Liverpool have sent two offers worth 37 and 42 million pounds respectively, but have not yet convinced Southampton.

Sharing on the Here We Go podcast quoted by Paisley Gates, journalist Fabrizio Romano revealed a reasonable fee for Liverpool in this deal: “Southampton has asked for £ 50 million for Romeo Lavia’s services. Liverpool. submitted an initial offer of £37m, after which they raised the price to £42m.

“Liverpool have tried however, I think they should put in extra effort and prepare some other money for Lavia. Then we will wait for Southampton’s reaction. From Liverpool’s point of view, I think they believe 45 million pounds or less could be a reasonable price for them to recruit Lavia.”

Romano believes that Liverpool only need to spend an additional £ 3 million, meaning changing the offer from £ 42 to £ 45 million will get Southampton’s nod.
