Vinicius Jr., Eder Militao, and Juni Calafat, the club’s head scout, were in a recent popular TikTok video (h/t Madrid Xtra) discussing the potential summer arrival of Kylian Mbappe.
The amusing video started with a question about whether the French superstar will join the club this year, to which the two Brazilian players both responded that they hoped so.
In the video, Vinicius remarked, “We hope he’ll arrive. His teammate Militao quickly agreed and added, “I hope so.”
The two then ask Calafat to participate in the conversation by carrying out the necessary actions this summer.
They chortle merrily, “Juni (Calafat), you have to sign Mbappé,” The chief scout of the club then deceives them by making a remark about their vacation in Ibiza.
“You are using all of our money to get to Ibiza. We won’t have enough money left over for Mbappé.
The Brazilian winger was spotted pressing Militao to convince Calafat after first giving up on the subject. The defender then queries the administrator once more regarding Mbappe.
“Mili, tell Juni to sign Mbappe,” Vinicius commanded.
“Juni signs Mbappe,” the 25-year-old defender continued.
While the dialogue between the three close friends in the video is definitely lighthearted, it is also very evident that both of the Brazilian stars long for Mbappe to be by their sides.
It emphasizes Vinicius’ perspective on the matter in particular because there were some doubters who thought the Frenchman’s potential entrance may result in ego conflicts with the Brazilian superstar.
After all, both players operate in a comparable capacity.
According to yesterday’s reports, the 23-year-old was eager to team up with the striker, and the aforementioned video only serves to support that theory.
The winger’s contract with PSG is set to expire next summer, and he wants to join Los Blancos for free then. The French club is pressuring him to leave right away, though.
According to the most recent sources, Real Madrid hopes to acquire the superstar for the start of La Liga and could make a move for him as early as August 15.
