JUST IN: Liverpool Fans Anxious about Salah’s Future as PSG Initially Agrees to £259M Saudi Arabia Bid for Mbappe

Kylian Mbappe and the transfer show are back for another summer, and Liverpool fans have every reason to be worried now that PSG has accepted a huge bid of £259 million.

Football is in a bad place.

Saudi Arabia is attempting to steal players one at a time. Most of the players they’ve tried to sign, such as Jordan Henderson and Fabinho, are past their prime, but Mbappe does not fit that mold.

Earlier this summer, the Frenchman told PSG that he will not sign a contract extension beyond 2024. This means the team must sell him this summer or risk losing him for free the next year.

Few clubs could afford him, but according to Sky Sports, Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal made a ridiculous proposal of £259 million, which PSG accepted.

Mbappe can now speak with Al-Hilal. The 24-year-old hasn’t showed any symptoms of wanting to go yet, but Liverpool fans are aware.

Why? Salah Mohamed. Every time Mbappe makes us suffer through a summer story, Liverpool’s No. 11 has been linked to PSG, and if the Ligue 1 squad receives £259 million, there will be even more speculation.

Fans are already putting up plans…

The money from the Saudi Pro League is upsetting the market and changing the way football is played, and not for the better.

Salah is under contract with Liverpool until 2025, so moving him will be expensive. However, PSG may soon have enough money to entice him away.

We don’t know if Salah or the club would be receptive to such suggestions, especially given that the season begins in only a few weeks, but it may now be a spot to keep an eye on.

Neymar was the first player to raise everyone’s price, and if Mbappe goes for £259 million, a world record, Salah won’t be the only one to fall; he might be just one of many in a sport that has altered so drastically it’s difficult to identify.
