A potential trade involving Fred has been discussed between Galatasaray and Manchester United.

The Turkish team intends to make a second offer to sign the free agency midfielder this summer, according to Mail Sport’s reports.

 

Although United turned down their secret offer last month, talks are still ongoing, so a transfer before the deadline is still conceivable.

As he prepares to leave Old Trafford with only one year remaining on his contract and a rumored £20 million price tag, Fred recently changed agents.

There are also rumors that Fulham and Saudi Arabian clubs are interested in him.

The 30-year-old attacker joined United in 2018, after being purchased for £52 million. Since then, he has made 213 appearances for the team and scored 14 goals.

Mason Mount from Chelsea has strengthened United’s midfield, but the team is still prepared to let go of a number of players.

Both players are still available for trade, despite the fact that Real Sociedad’s pursuit of Donny van de Beek is further along than Fred’s potential move to Turkey.
