HITC said coach Jurgen Klopp was very unhappy with Liverpool’s defense during their 3-4 loss to Bayern Munich.
Cody Gakpo and Virgil Van Dijk scored in the first 28 minutes of this game to give Liverpool a 2-0 lead. Bayern Munich, though, scored two goals in a row to conclude the first half with a 2-2 score.
After a 15-minute intermission, Luis Diaz once more assisted Liverpool in taking the lead. The Gray Lobster played ferociously in the final minutes, though, and triumphed 4-3 on the contrary.
After the game, coach Jurgen Klopp was very unhappy about the way The Kop defended. “At the first goal, Trent [Alexander-Arnold] and Joel [Matip] needed to react better,” he said.

“I think the same thing happened in the second half. Now it’s the story of Joey [Gomez] and Ibou [Ibrahima Konate]. It’s not a matter of speed or anything. It’s just about receiving. It’s just about perception. Keep an eye on situations. In football there are no breaks,” added Klopp.

Liverpool will face Darmstadt in their next friendly, before traveling to London on August 13 for their opening Premier League match against Chelsea.
