Good news: Rasmus Hojlund spotted to arrive in UK to complete Manchester United transfer.

Rasmus Hojlund, an attacking midfielder for Atalanta, is nearly signed by Manchester United.

In order to finalize his transfer to Manchester United, Rasmus Hojlund has landed in the UK.

With the acquisition of Danish sensation Hojlund, United, who has spent the entire summer seeking a striker, is getting closer to achieving its goal. The Reds and Atalanta came to an agreement on the move on Saturday, and the club will pay a guaranteed £64 million, with the potential for an additional £8 million if certain conditions are completed.

Early in the transfer window, when the club gave up on trying to recruit Harry Kane because they believed Tottenham would not sell, especially to a direct Premier League competitor, Erik ten Hag spoke with Hojlund via video chat. The 20-year-old has personally agreed to the terms of a five-year contract with an additional 12-month option.

Hojlund landed at Manchester Airport on a private jet on Tuesday at around 4 o’clock, and he was later seen leaving the airport. It is believed that Hojlund will finalize his transfer to Old Trafford this week. Prior to finalizing the transfer, the striker will now have a physical. He will then participate in media responsibilities for his official introduction as a United player.

Hojlund will join Mason Mount and Andre Onana as United’s third key acquisitions of the summer, bringing the club’s total summer spending to £162.9 million in upfront payments. With additions, the amount becomes £179.2 million.

Even though United negotiated a lower price for Hojlund last week, Atalanta continued to seek £77 million, and despite their refusal to pay more than £60 million, Atalanta was able to get their way.

This weekend, United will play two more friendlies against Lens and Athletic Bilbao, and Hojlund might make his club debut in one of those games. On Monday, August 14, the team faces Wolves to start the season.
