After just 36 minutes of Manchester United’s friendly match against Borussia Dortmund, Erik Ten Hag mercilessly removed one of their young players.

United was looking to end their preseason tour of the United States with a victory over Dortmund after being defeated by Real Madrid by a score of 2-0 the previous time out.

Donyell Malen scored twice and Youssoufa Moukoko also scored as Dortmund prevailed 3-2 in front of a large crowd at the Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada.

The Old Trafford club had scores from Diogo Dalot and Antony.

Ten Hag displayed his ruthlessness during the game by removing young Omari Forson after just 36 minutes.

Attempting to tackle Dortmund attacker Karim Adeyemi, Forson then looked to kick out at Julian Ryerson while still in the midst of the action.

Following the event, Ryerson and Adeyemi both responded, and Forson engaged Adeyemi in a confrontation.

Adeyemi and Forson both swung an arm as they entered the referee’s book.

Ten Hag was clearly incensed when he made the decision to send in Antony to replace Forson while standing on the sidelines.

Ten Hag scolded the 19-year-old as he exited the vehicle.

The young guy, who had clearly lost his temper, was comforted by more experienced players like Christian Eriksen and Scott McTominay as he left the field.

Ten Hag declared following the game: “When there is a VAR, he gets sent off.

The opponent is irritated with him since he performed well, so it is a learning curve, but don’t take matters into your own hands.

“You can’t be the judge,” he continued. “You have to play football; you have to defeat your opponent; you have to score, and that is the best way to respond.”
