News: ‘Chucky’ Lozano is expected to leave Europe to play for LAFC under Carlos Vela

There have been whispers that Hirving Lozano is close to joining his cousin Carlos Lozano at LAFC of the Major League Soccer.

In Serie A, Napoli’s future with Hirving Lozano seems bleak because the Italian club does not want to give up the striker for free. According to reports from the country of the boot, this is exactly why ‘Chucky’ would depart Europe for LAFC of Major League Soccer.

DAZN That the 28-year-old soccer player and the Los Angeles team have a verbal agreement to move from Italy to the United States may be traced back to the country of origin. The only thing missing would be an agreement between Napoli and LAFC, two parties who will need to communicate with one another to reach a win-win conclusion.

The source also reveals that the Neapolitan club hopes to earn up to 20 million euros (about $21 million US dollars) from the sale of Lozano, who will serve as a striker for the team.

Leaving the team after playing a key role in winning the local championship and signing with a club in a league that, on paper at least, is much weaker would be a huge change for Lozano.

The team in Naples offered him a contract extension (ending in June 2024) but with a big cut in his income, which the Aztec did not like and is why Lozano decided not to accept.

Since he would rather sell the Aztec element than leave for free and leave more unfavorable accounts for the team that is presently the current champion of Italy, Napoli is selling Lozano at a cheaper price than his official record.

Transfermarkt’s assessment of  ‘Chucky’  Lozano’s market value

The Mexican striker won the Italian Cup and the Serie A while playing for Napoli, two titles that will undoubtedly line the pockets of the Aztec if he ever makes it to LAFC in the MLS.
