Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford in starting XI 4-2-3-1: Expected line-up Man United vs Borussia Dortmund

In the wee hours of tomorrow morning, Manchester United will play Borussia Dortmund in Las Vegas to conclude their US trip.

Kobbie Mainoo, a rising star for the Red Devils, will be absent after suffering an ankle iпjury against Real Madrid in the third minute that might keep him out for two months.

Rasmus Hojlund of Atalanta is set to join United as a new striker, therefore Anthony Martial may use this game as his first preseason opportunity to show everyone what he can do as well.

As he heals from the hamstring iпjury he sustained at the close of the previous season, he has been back in training for more than a week.

Marcus Rashford might be able to take back his preferred left-wing position as a result.

Jadon Sancho or Antony should play on the right wing. Sancho has been selected, but there are valid arguments for giving both players time.

Bruno Fernandes might return to his more customary position as the number 10.

With Mainoo injured, Scott McTominay needs playing time behind him. He might start with Mason Mount, giving the two a chance to get to know one another’s styles of play.

During the second half, these three might be replaced by Casemiro, Christian Eriksen, or Donny van de Beek. “Personal reasons” have prevented Fred from visiting the US.

Andre Onana, a recent addition to the defense, will undoubtedly play goal. Given that Aaron Wan-Bissaka has played a significant amount of minutes at right back, Diogo Dalot may get a chance to play.

Luke Shaw, Lisandro Martinez, and Raphael Varane are set to round out the starting XI.

Jonny Evans, Hannibal, and Joe Hugill, who were late arrivals to the team and joined the seniors following the academy-based XI’s unimpressive loss to Wrexham last week, may get some action in the second half.
