Bayern Munich have accepted Al Nassr’s offer for Sadio Mane and are ready for the Senegal forward to join the team in the Middle East in the summer of 2023.
As revealed by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the deal was completed after Bayern Munich and Al Nassr reached an agreement in advanced negotiations.
This means Sadio Mane will join Al Nassr and become teammates with Cristiano Ronaldo. The former Liverpool star prepares to undergo a medical examination before joining and making his debut for the team in the next few hours.
Recently, Sadio Mané has been left out of Bayern squad today as there are “talks ongoing over potential transfer”, club definitive statement.
Meanwhile, journalist James Benge revealed Mane moved to Al Nassr from Bayern Munich for £34m (€40m) and would also receive an income of €40m a year.
The winger joined Bayern Munich from Liverpool last year. He played 38 matches for the German team, scoring 12 goals. Mane helped the Allianz Arena team win the Bundesliga title last season.
After bringing in Ronaldo in January, Al Nassr has added a number of important signings this summer. Marcelo Brozovic joined from Inter Milan, Seko Fofana joined from Lens and Alex Telles signed from Man Utd.
European players such as Anderson Talisca and former Arsenal goalkeeper David Ospina are also part of the Al Nassr squad.
Al Nassr finished second in the Saudi Pro League last season, five points behind champions Al Ittihad. They are determined to enhance the quality of the squad with the goal of winning the championship next season.
