Cristiano Ronaldo’s neighbors have criticized the star for his “hospital-sized” ugly mansion.

The £28 million mansion outside of Lisbon appears to be unpopular with locals after construction was delayed by a year.

According to a source at Look magazine, the player and his partner Georgina Rodriguez have infuriated his future neighbors by doing extensive work on the property, which was expected to be completed by July.

The mega-mansion has been under construction for almost three years and will be for at least another year.

A video posted to Instagram last month by Portuguese socialite Lili Canecas rҽvealed that the property, called Pharaoh Ronaldo’s Pyramid by locals, still needed a lot of work.

At the time, the house resembled a construction site, which irritated neighbors owing to the restricted view.

“They’ve been building for three years,” said one neighbor. The mansion is so big that it seems like a hospital.

According to the publication, the project was anticipated to cost £10 million at first, then £17 million, and finally £28 million.
