Manchester United lost 0-2 to Real Madrid in the US, on the day Casemiro met his old team. From the start, Man United struggled when rising star Kobbie Mainoo had to leave the field with an iпjury after a collision with Rodrygo.

Even so, Casemiro provided a lot of support for the defense during his time on the pitch. Casemiro’s two tackles were the most of any United player, while he also made an important interception and saved a Real Madrid shot.

The Brazilian was a bit rough on one tackle, fouling twice, but he showed the fitness needed to break through the Galacticos’ quick attacks. The midfielder won his only aerial contention, winning 2/5 of the ground contention.

Although a passing accuracy rate of 77% is not very high, Casemiro nearly provided the assist with a perfect pass to Alejandro Garnacho. The Brazilian also completed four of his seven long passes.

Casemiro also showed a desire to score, but his two shots were both inaccurate.
