‘Great talent’ – Toni Kroos praises rising Real Madrid star Arda Guler, fans are looking forward to his appearance in the super classic against Barcelona this weekend

Toni Kroos lauded Arda Guler, the new player for Real Madrid, calling him a “great talent” and “very open to tips.”

Guler transferred from Fenerbahce to Real Madrid for about €20 million. He has impressed in training but has not yet played for his new team.

Guler has a “very, very fine left foot” and is “technically exceptionally good, especially in tight spaces,” according to Kroos.

The German midfielder added that Guler is “very open to tips” and “asks a lot.” This, according to Kroos, is a “very positivҽ sign” and demonstrates Guler’s openness to learning.

He is one of the gifted people who inquires, “How do you do that? How did you get through like that? He is someone who asks for tips; many 18-year-olds believe they are already too good and don’t require tips. However, the midfielder noted that he has the mentality to learn in his podcast Einfach mal Luppen (h/t Real Total).

He has a lot of talent for his age, you really have to admit that. His left foot is really, extremely fine. That will happen frequently. He is particularly skilled technically and possesses a strong left-footed shot, especially in confined spaces. I believe that was a really wise and good transfer, especially for the long run, he continued.

While it’s vital to manage young talent properly, Guler has the potential and attitude to succeed at Real Madrid, according to Kroos.

“There are many 17- or 18-year-olds who believe they are competent and don’t require any further guidance. In this instance, it is not the case; that is a truly admirable quality. There are good circumstances,” he continued.

Guler has not yet played, but he might do so tonight in Texas, USA, during the preseason matchup versus Manchester United.
