A video of Cristiano Ronaldo sobbing with a 10-year-old child whose father had died in the recent earthquakes that devastated Syria and Turkey last month went viral after an Al-Nassr game. Both nations were affected by the calamities last month.
Christian Atsu, a former footballer for Newcastle and Chelsea, was among the more than 45,000 people who perished in the earthquakes on February 6. A vast number of people were left without access to heat, electricity, or water after the earthquake. Numerous more people also suffered injuries.
A young Syrian man named Nabil Saeed was overheard telling a Saudi Arabian rescue squad that had flown to Syria after the accidҽnt that he wantҽd to see Ronaldo perform. Nabil Saeed received an invitation to travel to Saudi Arabia as a result of this. Turki Alalshikh, the head of the Saudi Board of General Entertainment Authority, posted the video to social media. He is begging for help in identifying the child in the video.
When asked who he would like to travel to Saudi Arabia with, Nabil initially replied, “My father and mother,” but he later corrected himself in the midst of an emotional moment.
Nabil had the chance to meet his hero when watching Al-Nassr’s match against Al-Batin at the Marsool Park Stadium the previous weekend with his mother.
