FOOTBALL fans are convinced Adidas are “sending a cry for help” with the release of Manchester United’s new away kit.
That’s after dropping a stinker with Arsenal’s latest release too.
Man Utd have dropped their new away kit… and fans are not convinced by its design
Adidas have been slammed after also releasing a strange design for Arsenal this season
The Red Devils are looking forward to another progressive season under boss Erik ten Hag.
But even if their football fails to catch the eye, United’s new away jersey certainly will.
The bizarre design features a dark green and maroon blended, complete with numerous white stripes featuring red inlays.
With the assistance of celebrities like Luke Shaw, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Marcus Rashford, and Jadon Sancho, Manchester United unveiled the uniform.
However, fans’ reactions on social media were divided, with many still hurt by Adidas’ lime and tiger-striped collaboration with rivals Arsenal.
Adidas was even thought to be sending a message, according to one cheeky fan, with not one but two odd patterns.
They said: “Between this and the Arsenal monstrosity, I think Adidas is trying to send out a cry for help this season.”
Another noted: “What a terrible kit.”
Some Man Utd fans did not like the new jersey at all
Others vowed to head to the shops for a quick purchase
One added: “Rank kit, please get a new one.”
However, some fans were positively bowled over by the design.
One said: “Unreal shirt this, absolutely love it.”
Another shrilled: “This is the best kit this season, even better than some home kits.”
Another added: “I think I might buy this one.”
