Lionel Messi hunts for home in South Florida after Inter Miami debut, finds giant mansion at Fort Lauderdale

Lionel Messi is obviously trying to make South Florida feel more like home because the new Inter Miami player was seen looking at a huge estate over the weekend.

The 36-year-old spent his day off on Sunday to look at a potential new place for him and his family after scoring the game-winning goal in his MLS debut for David Beckham’s team on Friday.

Messi’s wife, Antonella Roccuzzo, and all of their children accompanied him on the journey as they searched for a large location that was close to the Intracoastal Waterway.

There has been no news on whether Messi loved it enough to make a bid, but it is clear that he can afford whatever the asking price was.

According to his new 2.5-year contract with Inter Miami, he will earn about $5 MILLION every month!

Of course, he’s already proven that he’s worth it by scoring a free ƙicƙ in the 94th minute of his debut game with the team to lift his new team past Cruz Azul.

Messi’s next match is against Atlanta on Tuesday; perhaps after that, he’ll get the keys to a brand-new mansion.
