UPDATE: Bayern Munich ready to ‘hijɑck’ Fabinho as Liverpool want to complete the deal with Al Ittihad soon

In the summer, Liverpool did well by signing two elite midfielders. Now, though, it appears that two more might be leaving Anfield.

To replace the midfielders whose contracts expired, the Reds have signed Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai.

Due to interest from Saudi Pro League teams, two well-known Liverpool players, Jordan Henderson and Fabinho, may be moving soon.

This week, Fabrizio Romano announced on Twitter that Henderson would be signing with Al Ettifaq of the Saudi Pro League.

Bayern Munich closely monitoring situation of Fabinho

Meanwhile, Fabinho’s transfer to Al Ittihad appears to be imminent. It appears that Liverpool wants to close the transaction quickly.

However, journalist Florian Plettenberg of Sky Sport Germany has informed of a potential late twist.

Specifically, that Bayern Munich is keeping a close eye on the Fabinho situation and is prepared to seize the moment.

Here’s what Plettenberg wrote on Twitter about the £180,000-a-week star:

Liverpool appears to have come to terms with the fact that Fabinho will be moving this summer.

The Reds will most likely only seek advantageous terms in terms of the transfer money and structure no matter where he goes.

Regarding Fabinho, it is unclear whether Bayern will be able to turn his head or if he will become the newest top recruit in the Saudi Pro League.

Really, it’s not an awful decision to have to make. Either a very expensive deal in a league that is adding players at an alarming rate, or a position at Germany’s strongest club, where several titles may be won year.
