Andre Onana has participated in his first practice as a member of Manchester United.

After completing his €55 million transfer from Inter Milan yesterday, the Cameroonian immediately took a flight to the United States to join his new colleagues on their preseason tour.

Without giving his jet lag a second consideration, Onana joined Dean Henderson and the other tour keepers for a workout in the New Jersey sunlight today.

The 27-year-old was captured in action by ManUtd.com.

When the Red Devils play Arsenal tomorrow at the MetLife stadium, Onana is poised to make his United debut.

It will be an opportunity for him to practice with his new teammates and begin to establish a rapport with his defense.

Today’s manager Erik ten Hag said the following about his new hire:

“Andre can play behind a high block as well as a low block, so it’s excellent that he has joined the team. Pre-season is when players should focus on cooperation because it is so important.

However, I am confident that he will adjust, and the players will be aware of and utilize his strengths.

He may be seen working out with Henderson, who today was the subject of another loan offer from Nottingham Forest, in one of the club’s photos.

Anthony Elanga’s permanent transfer to Forest has also attracted a £15 million bid from Forest, which United apparently accepted.

Elanga is reportedly returning to the UK to finalize his transfer to the Midlands club despite being a part of the trip.
