Arsenal players participated in a training session in Washington before traveling up north to take on Manchester United on Saturday at the MetLife Stadium. Smith Rowe and Thomas Partey’s comeback gave Mikel Arteta the best force with which to prepare for the campaign.

The performance marked the conclusion of the first phase of our summer tour of the US; Los Angeles would follow a few days in New York.
