The international break appears to have allowed Lionel Messi the chance to accompany his children to school while he enjoys his free time.
The Argentine icon and his partner Antonea Roccuzzo posted pictures of them leaving off two of their three boys on Instagram, as seen below.
We can only picture the scenarios he encounters and the reactions it likely elicits when he shows up at their school, but he definitely enjoys it and Roccuzzo looks equally pleased as her boys continue to develop quickly.
After the international break, Messi will soon return to work for Barcelona as the Catalan giants face Real Sociedad on September 15. As they attempt to maintain their strong campaign start, Messi’s family will undoubtedly be there to encourage him.
But for the time being, it appears that he is staying at home.
Even though he is one of the best players of all time, Lionel Messi isn’t averse to doing mundane things like going to school.
The Barcelona star was able to drop off his two eldest sons, Thiago and Mateo, at school because he isn’t on foreign duty.
In a photo he shared on Instagram, Messi was casually dressed and appeared content as he spent time with his kids.
Messi declined to be a part of the Argentina team that will play Guatemaa and Coombia because he prefers to concentrate on his club career.
The 31-year-old is still eligible to play for Lione Scaoni’s national squad and hasn’t given up on playing for his country, but his World Cup campaign, which concluded with a loss to France in the last-16, put him under a lot of pressure.
Messi elected not to be a part of the most recent Argentina squad, therefore he is currently taking some time off.
Argentina’s poor performance was a result of tensions in the locker room, and Messi, who has 65 goals to his credit, will temporarily step away.
When the nominees for The Best FIFA Men’s Player award were rҽvealed, Messi was surprisingly overmatched, with Cristiano Ronaldo, Luka Modric, and Mohamed Saah being left off the list.
Messi has been in tremendously great form so far this season, scoring four goals in his first three La Liga games.
