ENGLAND Under-21 star Cole Palmer is being chased by two Manchester City old boys — Vincent Kompany of Burnley and Leicester’s Enzo Maresca.
Kompany would love to have Palmer on loan at newly-promoted Clarets but City need to be sure the 21-year-old plays enough.

Maresca also wants a loan deal for the attacker — who can play on either side — though there is a feeling he is too good for the Championship.
City will make a decision when he returns from his break after the Euros triumph.
Palmer was handed his City debut by Guardiola in 2020.
He has gone on to make 38 appearances to date for his boyhood club.
The talented starlet made 25 outings in all competitions last term.
But he was limited to just two Premier League starts, and one in the Champions League.
In an attempt to acquire James Trafford from City, Burnley will offer him a remarkable £40,000 per week contract.
With Trafford’s meteoric rise to stardom, Kompany persuaded his money guys to make an investment. The guaranteed fee is £13,000,000 with additional fees.
Carlisle will be eligible for a portion of the agreement, which may be worth up to £1 million.
For the majority of the previous 18 months, Trafford was on loan at League One Bolton.
He appeared in 74 games in all for Wanderers, contributing to their EFL Trophy victory and winning Young Player of the Year honors.
