The news was confirmed this morning by David Ornstein, who reports that the striker will sign a five-year contract extension before his current contract expires next summer.
He added that Rashford has turned down ‘fatal offers’ from clubs across England and Europe to stay with his boyhood side in hopes of lifting big trophies.
Wythenshawe-born Rasford has been a Red Devil since he was eight and his new terms will see him stay at Old Trafford until after his 30th birthday.
The England international is having his best season so far, scoring 30 goals for the first time in his career. He is United’s top goalscorer and was named Sir Matt Busby’s Player of the Year when the season ended.
He will be looking to build on his prolific form after the summer and now with added encouragement, as he knows his future will be secured in M16.
