Aurelien Tchouameni, a midfielder for Real Madrid, and Jules Kounde, a defender for Barcelona, have both worked with a famous neurologist this summer in an effort to improve their mental faculties.
The two Frenchmen, who both play for their country’s senior squad and rose through the ranks at Bordeaux, have kept their connection despite moving on to play for Real Madrid and Barcelona, two of football’s fiercest rivals.
Kounde and Tchouameni, according to Relevo, used a renowned neuroscientist with a Los Angeles office when they were both away for a chunk of their summer holidays.
Assisting Kounde and Tchouameni with their mental toughness is Ash Parker of Neurovision, according to French physio Fabrice Gautier.
